My Eczema Story

I've always had eczema since young. I have lived with bleeding scars on
my legs, from a case of mild to moderate eczema for most parts of my
life. It didn't dawn on me about finding out more about eczema on my
own. Instead, I used corticosteroids or hydrocortisone creams everytime
I had an outbreak which happened often. With the daily use of the
cortisone cream during each outbreak and for many years, I started
noticing how thin the skin on my legs looked, how I bruised instantly
by simply pressing on the skin and how I tire easily.

However, nothing prepared me for the eczema outbreak I had in Yr 2007.
From a small area on my legs, my eczema became worse and worse as I

Emotionally, I suffered. It was not just the physical torture. My self
